In this world, the primary inhabitants are the "Scissorians" and the "Aeroplanes."

The Scissorians are a race of sentient scissors, capable of movement and thought. They are the protectors of Paperium, tasked with maintaining the balance of their world. They are known for their sharp minds and quick reflexes, making them formidable opponents in combat. The Scissorians have the unique ability to manipulate the molecular structure of paper, allowing them to create and control various paper constructs.

On the other hand, the Aeroplanes are a race of sentient paper airplanes. They are the explorers of Paperium, traveling from planet to planet in search of new knowledge and experiences. The Aeroplanes are known for their speed and agility, making them elusive opponents in battle. They have the unique ability to manipulate the aerodynamics of paper, allowing them to fly at incredible speeds and perform complex aerial maneuvers.

These are Scissorians that have been modified to shoot paper airplanes at the Ink Monsters. The paper airplanes are coated in a special ink that is lethal to the Ink Monsters.

The Space Scissors travel through space, seeking out and destroying the Ink Monsters. The game follows the journey of these Space Scissors, as they fight to protect their world from the Ink Monsters.
